Who we are
Black Researchers of Southwestern Ontatrio
Black Researchers of Southwestern Ontario (BRSO) seeks to engage, empower, and protect the interests of BRSO members by (re)imagining what cross-institutional collaboration can look like as we work towards representation, and advocacy in the academy and beyond. This project is funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC).
BRSO Membership
BRSO Membership is open to anyone who self-identifies as Black and/or are of Black heritage who are based within the Southwestern Ontario region; including but not limited to researchers affiliated with one of the seven founding institutions (Brock, Guelph, McMaster, Waterloo, Western, Windsor, and Laurier); Policymakers; Historians, Students, Artists, and Community activists and Leaders.

There are no membership dues to join.
